Jason and Sherry
Jason grew up in the mountain area of BC and even though we have lived in northern Alberta for 25 years he still considers the mountains home! We have always had horses as part of our family . The Team we are using at this time are young with ‘Sid being 4 and ‘Nancy’ being 5. They enjoyed giving wagon rides on a couple occasions as well as helped get fire wood out of the bush for our little log cabin-home.
We have lived the farm life as well as trucking while watching our 2 boys grow to be mature young men and start their own little families.
Now look forward to filling our bucket list with Sleighrides in Whistler.
Every weekend in October you will find us at North Arm Farms in Pemberton. The scenery around the farm is gorgeous. They also have a variety of farm fresh veggies that you can purchase for your dinner – and BEWARE the freshly popped Kettle Corn is very addicting. You will find us doing “horse-drawn wagon rides” out to their Pumpkin Patch. SO come on out say hi and enjoy a wagon ride out to seek out that PERFECT PUMPKIN.
How exciting – we can see a little dusting of snow on the Mountains. We are starting to take your reservations for a sleigh ride. Use our safe ‘on-line’ form or give us a call.
David has been kept very busy again this summer doing farrier work. When back in Alberta to visit our children, David also trims and shoes horses for a number of people in the area. During the summer – in Whistler, he has taken on the job of shoeing for a few trail ride companies. Once fall time arrives – the farrier work slows down and we begin to plan for the winter season.
Please remember our winter season sleigh rides: Our winter season begins on November 24th to March 31/2013
Every fall we take pride in joining North Arm Farms to haul their customers to the ‘Great Pumpkin Patch’. You can buy your pumpkin at the store BUT it means more if you can go out to the patch and choose your very own. It is amazing how each pumpkin has it’s own character. It is also amazing to see what grows on the farm.
So starting Oct.06, 2012 and every weekend after that come on out to North Arm Farms in Pemberton – you will see us there.
Let David know you saw this on our website – thanks.
